Calcium lignosulfonate, referred to as wood calcium, is a multi-component high molecular polymer anionic surfactant. Its appearance is light yellow to dark brown powder with a slight aromatic odor. It is easily soluble in water and has good stability. Its molecular weight is generally between 800 and 10,000, and this product has strong dispersibility, adhesion and chelating properties.

1. Standard Storage Conditions
The calcium lignosulfonate powder should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse to prevent moisture and caking. ① If slight caking occurs, it can be crushed and used normally without significant performance degradation. ② If severe caking occurs (lump diameter >5cm), it indicates moisture absorption and deterioration and should be discarded. It should not be used in projects.
Calcium lignin sulfonate (liquid concentration 30%-50%) should be protected from freezing at low temperatures (freezing point approximately -5°C). It will delaminate and lose its effectiveness upon freezing. It should be stored above 5°C for no more than 6 months to prevent microbial growth.
2. Safety Instructions
Operators must wear a dust mask (solid powder) or protective gloves (liquid) to avoid inhalation or direct skin contact. ① If the powder is inhaled into the respiratory tract, move immediately to a well-ventilated area and drink plenty of water. ② If the liquid comes into contact with skin, rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes to avoid allergic reactions. (A few people may experience itching; seek medical attention promptly.)
Do not store with food or feed to prevent accidental ingestion. “Not for consumption” warning signs must be posted in storage areas.
