In the application of cement, Kingsun cement additives can be used for improving or realizing various characteristics, such as quick drying or strengthening, reducing water content, and delaying the setting time of cement mortar. Besides, they are also known as cement admixtures.
The additives used in cement or mortar are divided into four categories:
- Improve the rheological properties of concrete mixes. For example, various water reducing agents, air entraining agents and pumping agents.
- Adjust the concrete setting time and hardening performance. There are concrete set retarder, early strength agent and accelerator.
- Improve the durability of concrete. Including air entraining agent, water repellent and rust inhibitor.
- Admixtures for improving other properties of concrete. There are entraining agent, expansion agent, coloring agent, antifreeze, waterproofing agent and pumping agent.
