RDP S4012N is a high-performance redispersible polymer powder (RDP/VAE-RDP) formulated from vinyl acetate–ethylene (VAE) copolymer and stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). It is produced by spray-drying an aqueous polymer emulsion, resulting in a white, free-flowing powder.
When mixed with water, RDP S4012N quickly redisperse into a stable latex. Upon water evaporation, it forms a continuous polymer film that greatly enhances the adhesion, cohesion, and flexibility of cement-based and other substrates. This makes it an ideal additive for improving the performance of dry-mix mortars, tile adhesives, wall putties, self-leveling compounds, plasters, and repair mortars.
